The Association for Egyptian Women in Mathematics

The Egyptian Women in Mathematics Association (EWMA) is honored to recognize five outstanding female role models, representing a scientific journey that spans generations—from pioneering figures who paved the way to our promising rising star.

This year, we celebrate a journey of dedication, excellence, and inspiration, and we express our sincere appreciation to all the honorees for their scientific contributions. We extend special tribute to Professor Dr. Soheir Khamis, to whom this celebration is dedicated.

Despite her loss of sight, her inner light, strength, and inspiring spirit continue to illuminate the path for generations of mathematicians, embodying the true meaning of perseverance and contribution within the scientific community.
